Ailsa Quinlan

Ailsa came late to art after a highly structured and uncreative career in the police. Following a traumatic time she was encouraged to express herself though art and never looked back. From watercolor to pen and ink and formal drawing classes she then found oil paint. She fell in love with the depth of colour, with the mediums and grounds. The versatility of the mark making and following a couple of courses she found her own style. Ailsa has been a fan of science fiction and fantasy all her life and now as a science fiction author she can put on canvas the worlds and images in her head.
